   I recently read a strange statistic that UK Pubs are closing at an alarming rate of one per day.

   What is the underlying reason? Increased taxes? operating Costs? seems odd

      I think it’s taxes and brewery prices. A pint beer is now about £3.50 at least. For that amount of money you almost get 4 tins of lager in the local off licence.

   The opposite is happening here it seems like there is a new Brew/Pub everyday and the competition is fierce

   gone are the days of Budweiser and Miller…this one I patronize is a perfect example
