This Week on Television.
Bonanza, Sunday, 2. Programm, 18:15.

Raumschiff Orion.
The book covers, most of them illustrated by the fabulous Eddie Jones; anyone’s got a proper link for Mr Jones? I can’t find him anywhere on the web. Oh, and have a look at Michael Mau’s illustrations again: 1, 2.

Those incredible Soviet Trains.
While I’m certainly not a fan of military history or military equipment (God forbid!), those Soviet Armoured Trains are simply incredible; their design is pure steampunk; some of them look like the Nautilus. Which alone is worth mentioning it here. Have a glimpse at these monsters:

The Horror.
Great collection of old horror movie stills at Golden Age Comic Book Stories.

Hello There.
The polished aluminium version is available again. For a rather steep price. Well, I don’t care. Via Retro To Go.

Lassalvy.
His famous cartoons — Humour in a pure state — and an exhibition of his paintings.

Raumpatrouille 1966.
Sometimes Web 2.0 can be really great. This little video was done very quickly with the help of Animoto. The Rock’n Roll version of the title track is by Spy vs Spy.
Cities and Towns.
A few photos from the enormous Charles W. Cushman Collection [Cities and Towns]. Via things.
Charles Weever Cushman, amateur photographer and Indiana University alumnus, bequeathed approximately 14,500 Kodachrome color slides to his alma mater. The photographs in this collection bridge a thirty-two year span from 1938 to 1969, during which time he extensively documented the United States as well as other countries.
